Hello World is used this term because I'm starting to create a new blog.
Hello World the most commonly used word and specially can be understand by anyone whether what you race is.
Hello World is being used by newbie programmer, and this becomes traditional when creating a new program. and it is simple enough so that people who doesn't have any background on programming can easily understand. but of course a guidance of instructor or a written guide is a must be.
Examples of Hello World program in different programming language.
C - printf("hello, world");
VB.Net msgbox("Hello World") or messagebox.show("Hello World")
